Beautiful Blooms II

Hello out there in Blog Land. We are here in Montauk again for the week ....... boy do I love the summer. I so love the surf and sand!! We are expecting a thunder and lighting storm later tonight which pretty much puts me over the edge.

This is a card I made for a friend from high school. She has not been feeling too well lately and I thought this might lift her spirits. I really love the beautiful blooms paper, stamps and dies. The dies really make life easy and they cut this felt so perfectly....



This is a photo taken today on the beach ...me and the kiddies.... Montauk is the very east end of Long Island. The tide was coming in when this photo was taken. Shortly after this was taken I was sitting on this log when a rush of water came up and it pushed the log right from under me ..... that was a pretty good laugh~~

Graduation Card

Here is a card I made for my nephew who will be graduating middle school on Friday ..... GREAT JOB CHRISTOPHER!!! I was inspired by This Card made by my friend Rhonda ....... LOVE IT!!! I used EE ink but stamped it off one time to give it a more rustic look. I also used my envelope liner die ....... that die is AMAZING!!! I hope they come out with some paper that is more metallic for Christmas ....... how fantastic would that look when your card is opened .......



And here is my guy Bastian Schweinsteiger, he plays midfield for the German National Soccer Team ........ next game is Friday morning here in the East ....... of course I am pulling for Team USA as well. The Germans played like a Mercedes Benz on Sunday ..... even before the red card~~

Hanging Out

So I got my first order from Practicing Creativity and could not wait to play. The stamps are easy to stamp with even when you have an 18months old pulling on you so hard you almost fall down. Oh and the ribbon ......... TO DIE FOR!!! Anyway here is a quick little card I made using my new Barefoot Summer set, it is so cute and you can really mix and match for a number of ideas. I generated the sentiment with the computer ..... quick and easy. I used the canvas impression plate from PTI, it is super cool. The rays coming off the sun look crazy ...... but if you knew how many things I am doing or how many fires I am putting out to make one card you would laugh at me. Thanks for stopping by and now game 2 of the World Cup is about to begin!!! That pineapple in the background is for Grilled Chicken & Pineapple Quesadilla ........ hummmm sounds like a Margarita would go perfect with that ..... what do you think ??

Friends for Life

Hello out there in Blog land~~ This is card I made back in early May and I still have not decided if I like it or not. It for sure looks better IRL ..... this photo stinks!!! We are back at the beach again and my craft table is just sitting there waiting for me. Kinda a double edge sword, beautiful power walks in the morning listening to some tunes but I do miss my kitchen and craft space. We have a kitchen here but at home I have the tool for every job and not so much here so there are a ton of salads. I hope everyone has a great day !!!!!
