Papertrey Pals Challenge and VD for my honey!!!

Liz challenged us to use stitching this time on our VD project. This was a real challenge since my new mini sew is still in the box because I have not had a minute to get it out. My card for this challenge was inspired when I saw a card posted by Erin here. As soon as I saw this set by Hero Arts I knew it would be mine. This is really a day we celebrate since Curt did POP the question on top of the Empire State Building..... greatest night ever!!! If you meld "An Affair to Remember" with "Serendipity" then you pretty much have a movie about us.

The inside of the card is a bit hard to see but the "scrabble" word at the bottom is "Serendipity" ....... NERD ALERT!!! :)

And here is the whole package for my honey. A crazy yummy chocolate flourless torte with fresh cream and raspberries..... this is the part of the day when the kids do not talk or say they do not like it .........

One day I should document our story on here ....... I can say that I was leaving NYC never to return ....... VW packed and I was heading for the bridge...... bittersweet but I had to leave it all behind. As I am singing loud and probably pretty bad in the passing lane I feel like someone is looking at me...... YEP it was Curt I had not seen him in well over a year. And there he was driving next to me with his face pressed against the car window. I remember thinking " oh maybe he does not know it is me in this lime green beetle ...... HELLO ...... it is lime green!!!" And with that thought my phone started to ring............

I love your card, especially the silhouette and "serendipity" inside, loved that movie. Now, you are going to have to finish that story. You can't leave your PALS hanging...

Beautiful card! I love the distressed layers and the meaning behind it. Do I need to send you my address so you can send me that yummy torte?
