Poppy Seed Challenge

Lisa Johnson has a challenge on her blog to create a card using "3 seeds". This week the seeds were light yellow, a flower image, and any kind of "Bling". Of course I think my favorite flower image that I currently own is from the Life set by Papertrey ink and it also happens to be the same one she uses....... you know what they say about great minds :) I think that the sentiment that I chose to go along with the card before it was finished really ended up being perfect for me to read again after the finished product. As you can see the sewing is not perfect and at one point I went off the page I think altogether but that was a "moment" little Ava was under my feet and playing with the cords for the sewing machine and it was just so darn cute so who cares if I went off the page ..... and then there is the stamping where it is a bit blurry ...... Emma was helping me finish so she could make something for her daddy ........ again another moment. I am able to create with my kiddies either helping me or just being there. Do not get me wrong I do love to have time to do this where I can concentrate but for tonight ........ it was a moment in life where everything was perfect!!!

Card stock PTI Kraft and New Leaf

Great card, Sue Ann. And an even better story about its creation.

Love it. I love the way you dotted your "i" with a bit of bling. After all, shouldn't we all have a bit of bling in our life? hehe.

LOVELY Sue Ann! Your stitching is fantastic. Im glad Ava & Emma were able to "help" you, tell them they did a good job! These will be moments you'll look back on and cherish. :o)

I *LOVE* the distressing that you did around the edge of the flower. I think that just makes the look of this card.

Wow. Seriously, WOW~

Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow, love this "old" look and how it came out of something from a country kitchen. So charming! Great job, Sue Ann! :)
