OH SO Delightful Doilies

Oh how I love the new Delightful Doilies.  I looked at them lovingly everyday wondering what I wanted to do first, other then practicing with them.  Then my Land of Nod catalog came and there was this way too cute pillow....... I looked at it and thought hummm that looks like Heather's NEW PAPER that I LOVE!!!

I used some Zing embossing powder on my doily and sentiment.

And now off to the car line to pick up little Miss Emma Rose.

I hope everyone is having a great week~~

This is great, Sue Ann! I would never have thought to put a doily on top of that paper, but it just works! Especially because it's orange. Now, where is your foam project? I know you MUST have some in your house!

This is so cute! I love how you balanced the doily with the buttons on the right side.

Utterly drool-worthy! I realy love the look of the doilie stamps but must admit am a little afraid of them. Baby steps I guess. I digress, this card is so fab. The fabulousness, for me, lies in the unconventional orange doily color. Contrasted with the white ones, green and black and the line of charming buttons on jute, this it really pops. Everything works in such an unhackneyed way. Awesome!

I love the embossing over the patterned paper. How you lined it all up in time to place the embossing powder on the image is beyond me! Awesome!

You are a genius. I saw that same pillow and thought, "Shucks, I SHOULD have purchased Heather's paper!"
What a wonderful card. You know I love that giant orange doily! And you buttons/twine/scallop is a perfect embellishment.

What a fun card! I love the color scheme on this. This would make a great St. Pat's card because these are the colors of the Ireland flag! Love the buttons and twine! Hope you and the family are well. Best, Curt

Thanks for the super-sweet comment on my blog! I'm actually blushing a little! We'll see if there's a market for me to do books on CV, ha!
