Larger Than Life

I was so excited when LJ designed an addition in larger sizes to the original Life set ...... I love those flowers and the sentiments in the first set are stained beyond I use them so much.  The image on my card today reminds me of Lavender, oh how I love that sweet smell!!!  And the new die for those lovely images ... LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!

I am trying to go outside my comfort zone and use some pattern paper...... I know we all have so much and we all hoard it.  This was from a 6x6 pack and I have 5 more pieces
so I felt okay about my decision today :)
My sassy friend Denise sent me some wrinkle ribbon and the sweet pin, it was clear and I colored it with a copic and added another crystal.

Forgive the lighting, I have been trying to do better but it was SO BEAUTIFUL here today and I took this photo in Ava's room as the sun was going down.  I think the sun kissed my face today!!
I sat in the back in a chair and gave the kiddies different obstacle courses to complete.  It is 730 pm here and 2 out of 3 are passed out and The other one is watching old Bugs Bunny with the 1,000 mile stare going..... mission accomplished!!

I hope we are closing on our house in NY this week, I have no idea how Curt will get there with all the snow on the ground there and NO PARKING in the city

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!

This is LOVELY! I've been watching MC Australia and several of the contestants have used lavender in their dessert recipes (didn't know you could do that lol!) I have yet to break out my Larger than Life stamp set and die, don't know what I'm waiting for, sigh...

Good luck with the house closing!

I love this! I just ordered this set and am waiting for it to arrive. I held off on getting the dies, and now I need them too. LOL! How did you get the green stems and purple flowers? Did you just ink seperately (because it is a single stamp, right?)

Sue Ann, this is beautiful! Your choice of background with the lavender is striking. I also love that crinkle ribbon...it's just the right shade. This card reminds me of our huge lavender festival in July in "the lavender capital of the US".

OK, smiled through the whole post. Made me laugh with the "I have five more pieces so I felt okay about my decision today." Hilarious how we feel about our paper. Your card is so pretty, and I love how you did the button with the banner sentiment. Then I got to laugh again at your description of your worn out kids. Great post. And great "interview" on PTI! Thanks for sharing that. Love to learn more about my favorite blogging buddies! Best, Curt

Sue Ann, I just came here to see your latest update. I thought I was a follower of your blog already, but I wasn't getting any updates. Anyhow, I'm following now. About this card, I really like the vintage feel. I'm sooo bad at that. The eyelet lace die cut is a perfect touch. Keep using up that patterned paper!

YUMMMM. Love lavender here. I use a lavender flavored syrup in my tea sometimes as a special treat...NOTHING like it! I also spray the kid's pillows and bedsheets with an essential oil blend I made myself that includes lavender. Helps them sleep better.
This is beautiful. I love the PP and the stitching. And how clever to color the pin with Copics to suit your needs!
Do I detect a hint of sparkle on those flowers? Spica pen?
