Make it Monday #16

Hey there.  I do not like making Sympathy cards but unfortunately I needed one.
This is also for the Make it Monday over on PTI.

I love how the woodgrain impression plate was the perfect finishing touch.

Have a GREAT Memorial Day weekend!!

Agreed. Sympathy cards can be hard, but not always necessarily only from a crafting perspective. You have managed a wonderfully elegant Sympathy card. I think the woodgrain ip is so lovely here especially so in the orientation you have chosen it to follow. Very effective indeed. Beautiful.

I'm sorry you needed this card but it is just so soothing and I'm sure the person will love it. Love the texture and the overstamped sentiment.

GORGEOUS sympathy card Sue Ann. A necessary evil huh? I'm sorry for your loss. Love the woodgrain texture! Don't have any PTI embossing plates YET! Thanks for the enabling! :) Have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!

So peaceful and serene, Sue Ann. I love the images paired with the woodgrain, and the twine with the button wrapped behind is such a subtle touch that I love!

I am sorry too that you needed this card, but you certainly came through with a perfect card. I seriously love this card primarily for the strong nature feel. The embossed wood was the perfect touch. I love this. I do hope you and your family are well. Thanks for your support for the last couple of weeks. . .Best, Curt
